I agree with Vincent xp Last time I went camping I had ten bug bites two of which were on my left boob, got a sunburn, and broke my phone xp I like camping but that was not so much good.

I was RAISED in mosquito village! One can't complain about mosquitos until you've got a bite on your perineum from using the latrine... -.-;

Seriously, though, after the first few days, they stop itching. Your body adapts. Then they go away for 6 months - and you get to do it all over again the next year.

BUT they give you an excuse to make lots of smoke on the campfire, and come home smelling like smoke that only 20 showers will clear you of!

I'm having issues walking due to bites on the bottoms of my feet. But meh! I still want to go out into the woods for a week.
I need to do more camping - considering I work in a park and need to be able to give advice to campers who don't even know what kindling is.

They've yet to block this site at school, and they block everything. I do mean EVERYTHING. I could barely do a research project for school, every other site was blocked. (Art, no less) Maybe next year it'll be blocked. Fun.

I don't even have to go camping..Every time I walk outside I get eaten alive by the bugs. D:

Dammit, Wolfshadow, now you got ME curious! I'm going to have to take my laptop over to my nearest MickeyD's (which is around the corner - heh) to see if that's true.... then, if it comes up, file a complaint to the manager about a certain State Law in Florida (go to www.myflorida.c... and do a search for "The Freedom of Religion Act") and how the franchise could be sued for breaking said law....

And no, I'm not making that up. That particular law is why there are so many pagans in Florida.

I don't see why the bugs go after you all so much. I get the occasional bug bite in my sleep, but otherwise they tend to stay away from me, save for flies landing on me to drink my sweat, which isn't a problem until they make me itchy.
